I met Amy at a local Rising Tide Tuesday's Together meet up where local creatives get together once a month to chat business, collaborate and support one another. After a brief time knowing Amy, she and her husband decided to wander South America. I followed her adventures on Instagram and fell in love with what her eye caught on camera. Her passion inspires me to seek my own travel experiences and to not let anyone get in the way of fulfilling those adventures. 

Today, Amy is back in Boise building her photography business, incorporating her travels into her blog and business and living a laid-back life. Here's a peak into her process and what inspired her in your life and business. 

HOW DID YOU BECOME A PHOTOGRAPHER?

I picked out an N64 toy film camera for my 10th birthday and have been hooked on photography ever since. I spent my childhood documenting my travels and bugging my friends as the group's unofficial photographer. The longer I shot for the more I loved the process of photography so I dove into learning everything I could. It's become how I experience the world around me and a topic I think about every single day.
